Depression
It affects all ages, genders, races, nationalities, and occupations. It can hit once out of the blue, appear intermittently, or last a lifetime. It can be incredibly debilitating for individuals suffering from the illness, as well as difficult for those around them.
Anxiety
Because nervous energy is experienced in the body, many of the tools to turn around anxiousness center around helping the body and nervous system feel more “settled.” When we feel our bodies become activated by anxious feelings, the experience can be so unpleasant that it makes us even more anxious! When we try to decrease the symptoms, we only become more aware of our inability to control our feelings, leading to more anxiety and a cycle that can spin out of control.
Stress
Maintaining a total wellness value improves coping abilities, helping individuals engage in changes in life circumstances. With the help of proper wellness, individuals use stressful experiences as a departure point for growth instead of risking illness.

Domestic Violence
We provide mental health counselors who offer guidance to individuals and families who are coping with trauma related to domestic violence and other issues that affect their mental health and well-being. At CWG, we approach our work holistically, using a “strength-based” approach that highlights, encourages, and develops each client’s strengths. This approach empowers individuals to make positive changes in their lives. WINGS also connects clients with life skills and career training.
Family Therapy
This is often a short-term form of therapy, with most families attending around 12 sessions. However, it can be more long-term too. These therapy sessions typically involve all of the family members involved, but certain individuals may also work with the family therapist in one-on-one sessions, too. The exact layout of a family’s treatment plan will depend on their family’s needs.

Juvenile Justice
Services provide alternatives to detention, services to youth awaiting court, and support for youth reentering the community.
Substance Abuse
This is often where treatment begins for those with substance use disorder, and in many cases, this is as far as treatment needs to go. Counseling—either in an individual or group setting—can be highly effective, and it often leads to positive results. The specific path that the counseling takes will depend on the needs of the patient, but it frequently revolves around teaching the patient the skills they need to deal with their addiction in the ‘real world.’ By learning to identify harmful thinking and behavior patterns, the individual may be able to stop themselves from falling back into an old habit
LGTBQ
We specialize in helping clients deepen self-acceptance, develop, and embrace their identity, and relate to others authentically.

Expressive Arts Therapy
Art therapy uses the creation or viewing of art to help people discover and express their feelings. Unlike art for art’s sake, which focuses on the finished piece, art therapy (which typically employs paint, clay, charcoal, pastels, or other art materials) focuses on the process of creation itself.
